RPA faction member, ex-prime minister Khosrov Harutyunyan acknowledged today not all the steps of the former government to resist the crisis were right though the sharp criticism on the new government’s programme in the parliament was not reasoned, according to him.
“The programme is merely a political document and it could not include a whole plan of the actions of the coming 5 years,” the MP said adding the announcement on the government’s participation in the development of the economy is a serious claim to ease the situation.
He highlighted the fight against monopolies and didn’t agree with the opinion that the fight is difficult as it is the members of the ruling party who create monopolies in our country.
“There are major businessmen in the opposition, too. I think presently we need serious legislative changes,” the MP has said.
Touching upon Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s political reverences addressed to PAP during ANC’s rally yesterday, the RPA MP advised not to demand anything serious from PAP at this moment.
“As a political force, PAP is in a stage of realization, ANC, in turn, with such statements wishes to gain other supporters to replace the ones it has lost,” Khosrov Harutyunyan commented on the statement in this way.
According to them, the possibilities to cooperate with ANC must be sought among PAP’s political interests. ANC would like to cooperate with PAP very much. But would PAP wish it?
“PAP may not cooperate with ANC but continue remaining in its own niche- neither being in the authority, nor being an orthodox opposition,” Khosrov Harutyunyan said.
