The matches of the second round of Group D of Euro-2012 final took place. The match between the Ukraine and France was stopped at the 5th minute because of the heavy rain.
It resumed at 9:00pm by Yerevan time. However hard the Ukrainian team tried to find the clue to the French goal, it didn’t succeed. The goals scored on the 53rd and 56th minutes took the French team to four points. Franck Ribery became the best player of the match between the Ukraine and France.
In the match between Sweden and England the latter had a 3:2 win over Sweden. Sweden’s team had an advantage in the second half after England’s team opened the score. But Sweden’s success didn’t last long. The goals scored on the 64th and 78th minutes took England to 3 points and increased its opportunity to make it to the ¼ final. Olof Mellberg became the best player of the match.
It is definitely clear that Sweden’s team will leave Group D. Ukraine can make it to the next round only if it wins England.
The matches of the third round of Group A will take place today: the team of the Czech Republic will compete with Poland’s team and Greece will compete with Russia.
