World renowned German cellist Alexander Hulshoff will give a concert with the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia at Aram Kachatryan concert hall on June 8 in Yerevan. Elgar’s Imperial March, cello Concerto, as well as Shostakovich’s 5th symphony will be performed during the concert.
The artistic director and chief conductor of Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra Edward Topchyan noted that the orchestra has started its intensive cooperation with known musicians of a number of countries.
“Owing to it well-known personalities come to Armenia and give concerts,” he said.
Alexander Hulshoff is visiting Armenia for the first time. He thinks Armenians are very warm.
“I am cooperating with Topchyan for the first time, but there is an impression we have been working for a long time,” he said.
