A woman died of wounds of self-immolation in the Chinese state of Sichuan. She is reported to have set herself on fire near a Buddhist temple protesting against the pressures on Tibetans. The 30 years old woman had three children.
To note, earlier 600 people were arrested in Tibet. The arrests started on May 27 after the disorders following the self-immolations of two Tibetan monks.
The entrance of foreign media to these territories is banned, therefore it is very difficult to give exact data. Nevertheless, the Asian service of Radio Station Liberty informs it is known this is the 35th case of self-immolation in Tibet since March, 2011. In this way, people express their complaint against the Chinese authority.
