Recently, serviceman Armen Harutyunyan, 19, died in mine explosion in one of the military units near Hadrut region. The public relations senior officer of Investigation Department of Defense Ministry Mary Sargsyan informed while placing mines into the ground during trainings one of them exploded and killed Armen Harutyunyan. He was called up from Gyumri on December 28, 2011. Two more servicemen received bodily injuries in the explosion. Presently, they are at Stepanakert’s hospital. There is no threat to their life.
