France’s newly elected president Francois Hollande has published the composition of the new government.
Women received just half of the 34 ministerial portfolios, but all the ministries of axial significance will be headed by men. France’s former PM Laurent Fabius became France’s foreign minister. The head of Hollande’s election headquarters Pierre Moscovici received the post of the minister of finances. Jean-Yves Drian was appointed minister of defense.
Manuel Valls was appointed minister of interior, Aurelie Filippetti was appointed minister of culture, Michel Sapin-minister of labour.
France’s newly appointed PM Jean-Marc Ayrault informed that the first session of the government will be convened tomorrow at the Elysee Palace.
