An attempted murder was committed against the former minister of interior Fernando Londoño in Columbia. According to unofficial data, the blast in the centre of Bogota left 5 dead and 25 more injured. The occurred in one of the busy highways in the town. A motor-cyclist threw the explosive in the direction of the armoured car of the minister. The driver of Londoño’s car and his two bodyguards died. The minister himself was taken to hospital with slight injuries. The police informs that Columbia’s Revolutionary armed forces can be behind the incident, as Fernando Londoño, who held the post of the interior minister in 2002-2003, fought actively against Columbia’s Revolutionary armed forces.
