The road police coworkers have found the car, which hit 4 citizens in Heratsi street yesterday. The car was found at the beginning of Tsarav Akhpyur street of Yerevan’s Avan administrative district. After the accident the driver had escaped.
Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan says the Opel was seriously damaged and the driving license of 59 years old Vahan Stepanyan was found in it according to preliminary data.
The police have noticed a suspicious citizen while carrying out the investigation. It has turned out later that the citizen is Vahan Stepanyan’s son whom the police took to Avan’s police department. One of the citizens hit by the car and taken to hospital, Arevhat Davtyan, has died.
The police are taking operative measures to find the driver of Opel.
